The mission of social centre is “EVANGELIZATION AND PROMOTION OF THE DIGNITY OF A PERSON.” 
The “centre” realises this it’s mission by testifying concretely fraternity and solidarity, celebrating life and hope, proclaiming that human dignity is an essential condition for the full development of the life an individual, family, community. Announcing that God exist and He is full of love.
 
THE CENTRE OFFERS TO CHILDREN AND YOUTHS:
 
 Attention to the essential necessity; food, health care,shelter, 
   (inhabitation) and clothing.
 
Basic education; alphabetization, after school.
 
 Professional courses;
 
informatics; giving to the youths the possibility to entering
    in the market of work.
 music and musical band; promoting the sense of being a
    citizen and forming future musicians.
 
theatre; valorising the cultural identity, harmonizing body and soul.
 painting; for helping the youth to develop progressively their own
   talent and fine arts.
 
 
FORMATION TO THE TEACHERS
 
The “centre invests resources also in continue formation of teachers, with the view to improving their pedagogical practices, so as to help the leaner to transform, through the study of his own life, it is necessary that the teacher should be updated and competent.
The projects and activities that social centre carry out, started in the year 1991, during the visit Pope John Paul the second, to Salvador-BA. In the sanctuary of the lord of Bonfim, the pope in the visit appealed to men of goodwill to help children in risky situation. We the sisters, DAUGTHERS OF THE CHURCH at once made an analysis of the way in which the children in our area were living, and made a program for Italy some leaflets for adoption in distance. The adhesion was generous and numerous.
The activities were thought and organized in the basics of the constitution of right of children and adolescents.  The “centre” is busy with creating opportunity for the full intellectual development of the children, adolescents and youths, to give room for the growth of self-esteem. The local community sees this work with gratitude and hope, participating in various meetings formative and informative
 
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
   To offer personalized accompaniment to children,
     adolescents, youth and their families, to prevent or to
     break the cycle of marginality, improving quality of life.
 
  To support and accompany children, adolescent and youth
   through educative process that favour the growth and
   integral development of a person.
 
SPECIAL OBJECTIVES
 
 To strengthen the participation of the family in the pedagogical
    proposal.
To welcome the story of each child, adolescent and youth, using the
    method of dialogue, listening and being a solidal presence.
To develop programmes educative, cultural and of sanity.
 
“All that is written, drawn, constructed,
remembered, are little parts of the big mosaic.
Each part that is inserted reveals something of ,
what we are and the world in which we live.
They are trace of what persons do,
